Sewage Treatment
It is mandatory for any urban entity such as Residential and Commercial Buildings, Hotels/Restaurants, Hospitals, and Institutions generating more than 10,000 Litres per Day of Waste Water to set up and operate a Sewage Treatment Plant before discharging wastewater into the environment or reusing it.

Effluent Treatment

Composting
Any Residential or Commercial Complex, Hospital, Hotels/Resorts, or Industry generating more than 50kg/day of wet waste should set up their own composting facility.

It should be composted to generate compost/manure for plants or agricultural use, reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
